City of Seal Beach

Helping the Senior community make their bathrooms more usable, the Seal Beach Bathroom Accessibility Program converts fiberglass tub/shower combinations to showers only for safer access. The tubs are refinished to look like new, grab bars are added where needed and a new glass shower door enclosure is also installed. Shower benches can be built and toilets may also be replaced with high-boy models.

Orange County Seniors

The Safe Homes For OC Seniors Program is designed to help Low to Moderate Income Seniors make Safety or Efficiency improvements to their homes. Qualified home owners may access up to $20,000 in Grant funding. The Grant is forgiven after 4 years with the declining amortization of 25% annually.
